Rooms are a bit dated but very spacious and service is amazing. If you're catching an Astros or rockets game, the location is perfect. I wish they had thicker windows to block out some of the Friday and Saturday night street noises. But otherwise, would definitely recommend.
I stayed here for a conference with my friends. We had the best time staying here. Everyone was so kind and helpful. Jesse at the valet was awesome and provided the best recommendations for local restaurants.
More pleasantly surprised than I expected. The location was closer to the convention center than I initially thought making a much easier "commute" every day. I also was very pleased with the kitchen facilities. This, of course, saved us a lot of money for meals and allowed us to store leftovers in the full size refrigerator for the next day, again saving us money. The front desk staff was amazingly friendly, accommodating and helpful. A special shout out to front desk supervisor Ivy Carrasco. She was very friendly, helpful and willing to go the extra mile with any of our requests and questions. She really made our stay so much less stressful than anticipated. Housekeeping did a nice job in each room and were reasonably quick to respond to any needs. The quality for the price was very good. Definitely would like to stay here again next year.
I am not a downtown person. No Eav charging. No card payment for laundry. No self parking. Parking is expensive. Good breakfast but no 2 choices the same day on breakfast meat/sausages. They alternate which i suggest they give 2 choices daily. They do pork only or chicken only daily. I like their fresh fruits and yougurt options for all diets
Me and my two friends stayed at the Hampton Homewood suites for three days going to a conference. We have the best time the room was great, very clean and spacious! We loved taking the valet Jesse, who was at the valet, was a 10 out of 10 expert on the city and a great resource for recommendations. Highly recommend.
The staff were awesome and the breakfast was more than I expected. The street noise was pretty intense so I wouldn’t stay here again, but I’m sure that’s the case for all the hotels in the downtown area. It was very convenient for getting around downtown and to the conference I was attending.
This hotel was great. I stayed for a cheer competition for my daughter, so tensions were high. I had car issues, the undercarriage was loose and dragging on the ground, I had to put its repair on my already long list of to do’s. When I was ready to go get the car repaired, it was already repaired by the Valet in charge. His name was Fatah, and he was so gracious, said it was a simple fix and that he wanted to make my stay more enjoyable. He definitely made my day! Great service at this hotel, I will definitely be back and I highly recommend!!
